USB Wireless headset - Works in VMWare, not in host machine
Environment: Host - Win7 Pro SP1 64-bit VMWare Workstation 9.0.2
Guest - Win7 Pro SP1 64-bit
I have two devices on USB 2.0 ports: a wireless headset from Logitech (H800) and a scanner from HP (5590) that will not be recognized by the host system. No matter how many times I install the scanner driver, it just won't work. The H800 keeps saying the driver is missing (and Logitech says the driver ships w/ Windows).
However, when I run the guest operating system, and then connect the devices to it, they work just fine. Because of that, I do not believe I have any cabling or power issues.
Any insights?
Thanks.
