How Much Do You Think It Cost To Manufacture Bitcoin ASICs?
I have for a while heard about GPU/Parallelized Bitcoin mining, but one thing I didn't know of until recently was Bitcoin mining ASICs. I read a bit into it, and one of the CEOs of the startup ASIC company says that his firm designs the chips, but doesn't manufacture them. They send them to the Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company. How much do you think it cost, and how does a startup afford this cost? I'm just curious.
